Katie Perkes, a good family friend, was nice enough to take some shots of Sage when she was only 3 days old. They turned out SOOO cute! I love them! I can't help but post them to show her off :) Katie did such a wonderful job. Thanks Katie!!

The Delivery, Sage just minutes and hours old.

Sage had a rough delivery as you can tell by her coloring in some of these pictures. The cord was rapped around her neck but they got her out and sent her right away to get some oxygen and put her in a little humidifier. She didn't need the oxygen for long but they kept a close eye on her and her lungs for a day or two. But she is fine now and is a happy and healthy baby. I couldn't be more thankful! We love having her in our home!

The delivery for me went very well. Epidurals are AMAZING!I don't know how the pioneers did it, or I could even say my Mom. She only had one epidural and didn't even really like it. Those women are amazing. What a blessing modern medicine is! My family and Eric's family have been so great to help out with anything we need. Stacy just bought Sage a new little swing and I think it is her new favorite toy. She actually had a decent nights sleep last night...including her mom! :) Wahoo!

Sage didn't have a name for about a day and a half but we were finally able to decide. Sage Elle. I love little baby Sage or as Eric calls her, little baby Sagey.

More Pics

Go Jazz and Baby Showers!

So this picture could be one of the last dates me and Eric went on before Sage made her grand entrance. The Jazz beat the clippers in double overtime! Nice! I'm pretty sure Sage will grow to be a huge Jazz fan....(she has no choice ;))

Here are some picture from a couple of the showers I had. It's amazing how generous people are. I really can't express how thankful I am for all these people and how much they help us out. We got some great stuff!

3 Weeks Away! :)

It is amazing to think that I am only 3 weeks away from my life changing forever. What a blessing it is to have nine months to prepare what little you can! :) Me and Eric read our patriarchal blessings together last night and it was comforting to know that we are supposed to have a family of our own and this is what Heavenly Father intended for us. I am so excited to see Eric as a dad, to be honest, I think that is what I am most excited about. He is going to make such a great dad, whether he knows how to change diapers or not! He will learn pretty quick!
